Vintage Chinese porcelain decorative platter beautifully executing the Renaissance Revival aesthetic. This platter reproduces classical 16th-century Italian Maiolica motifs—featuring elaborate grotesque imagery including winged putti, mythological chimeras, festoons, and cherubs. Hand-painted with rich detail in vibrant cobalt blue, warm ochre-yellow, and subtle polychrome glazes against a crisp porcelain ground. The octagonal serpentine form is rimmed in a beaded blue border, centered with an ornate crowned cartouche.
Perfect as a decorative wall display plate, sideboard centerpiece, or entry console accent in a European traditional or eclectic interior.
