An impressive large-scale Tibetan Buddhist ritual phurba (vajra dagger), finely cast in solid bronze with partial gilded detailing and deep high-relief carving.
The top features Hayagriva, the Horse Head Deity, with multi-faced protective mask carving. The segmented shaft is decorated with traditional vajra motifs, and the lower blade section is sculpted with guardian figures, all set upon an ornate lotus pedestal base.
In Tibetan Buddhism, the phurba is a sacred ceremonial implement symbolizing the power to dispel obstacles, negative energy and bring spiritual protection. This substantial heavy bronze artifact is a striking statement decor piece for meditation spaces, altar display, and a treasured collectible for Himalayan religious art enthusiasts.
