A beautiful pair of antique Haviland Limoges porcelain oyster plates, featuring delicate botanical illustrations, softly scalloped edges, and hand-applied gilt detailing.
Each plate features a sculptural, five-well design with a central sauce well, accented by intricate floral and foliage motifs in muted shades of burgundy, rose, ochre, and green. The softly fluted porcelain and warm, brushed-gold borders lend an understated elegance, while the varied botanical arrangements give each plate its own distinct character.
A lovely example of the artistry and refinement associated with French Limoges porcelain, these plates are equally suited for entertaining or display. Style them on open shelving, incorporate them into a collected gallery wall, or use them to bring a touch of Old World charm to a beautifully layered tablescape.
Sold as a pair.
