Six pieces of hand painted porcelain M. Redon French Limoges - three dinner plates and three salad plates in a violet floral pattern with scalloped gold rims and a molded relief edge. This particular set was made between 1891 and 1896.
Backstamped M. Redon Limoges, pattern 5428. The violets-and-gold combo is peak early-1900s Limoges, and the gold shows the soft wear you'd expect from a century of dinners. Sold as a set of six.
Fun Fact: Production under the "M. Redon" or "MR" marks primarily occurred between 1882 and the early 1900s, any genuine piece is roughly 120 to 140+ years old. These ladies look good for their age!
