Elegant pair of Italian wall sconces by PAF Studio, produced in the 1970s, combining Murano glass and brass in a refined organic design.
Each sconce is characterized by a softly sculpted diffuser in white Murano glass, shaped like an open leaf or petal. The glass curves gently outward, creating a fluid silhouette and a delicate sense of movement, while the molded veining at the base enhances its naturalistic inspiration. The luminous white glass diffuses the light beautifully, producing a soft and atmospheric glow.
The brass structure, reduced to an essential circular support and wall mount, provides a warm contrast to the opaline glass and emphasizes the sculptural quality of the design. The balance between organic form and restrained metalwork is highly representative of Italian decorative lighting from the period.
Both sconces retain the manufacturer’s stamp inside the socket holder.
