This elegant vintage wooden box is a beautiful example of traditional Chinese craftsmanship. Crafted from ebonized wood (dark wood), it features a rich, deep brown patina with visible grain.
The lid is adorned with intricate mother of pearl (shell) inlays depicting a bird perched among flowering branches, with a butterfly hovering nearby.
The inlay work features cream, pink, green, and yellow tones. It is the perfect size for storing jewelry, keepsakes, or small treasures, doubling as a sophisticated decorative accent on a vanity or desk.
