The lid features a beautifully sculpted, avant-garde female bust that functions as the handle. Rendered with clean, aerodynamic "Speedline" contours, a chic geometric bob haircut, and a serene, mask-like expression, it perfectly embodies early 20th-century glamour. The entire piece is finished in an off-white/cream glaze with a prominent, uniform all-over crazing pattern that adds incredible vintage character and depth.
The unglazed interior bottom retains its authentic properties, complete with a tiny ventilation hole underneath the lid—a classic hallmark of hollow-cast vintage pottery. The underbase features the crisp, original blue ink export stamp reading "MADE IN JAPAN" surrounding a stylized geometric factory mark.
