The figure is depicted standing in a commanding pose upon a base formed from swirling, gilt-bronze clouds. He wears elaborate military attire, including a gilded helmet, scale-patterned armor, and flowing robes in deep green, red, and blue. A central monster or lion mask adorns his chest armor. His hands rest upon a long, ornate staff or vajra that extends downward. The sculpture is extensively gilded, retaining a bright, warm gold luster with a rich, aged patina in the recesses. The back of the figure features long, flowing red ribbons that loop outward, adding a dynamic sense of movement.
