The figure is seated in a relaxed pose astride a large, powerful lion, his traditional mount. He wears flowing dark robes with red trim, an ornate silver-toned belt plaque, and a scholar's cap, holding a small object in his raised right hand. The deity has a gilded face with a serene expression, a black beard, and red lips. The lion is modeled with great detail, featuring a dramatic, snarling expression with its mouth wide open, sharp teeth, and an elaborate mane composed of numerous smaller, stylized heads. The entire group rests upon a rectangular, gilt-bronze base modeled as a rocky plinth. The underside of the base bears a cast seal mark.
