This is a finely crafted antique cloisonné enamel bowl, a traditional object often used as a wealth or fortune bowl. The bowl features a rounded body with a slightly flared rim, decorated in vibrant cloisonné enamel on a deep red ground. The exterior is adorned with a dense, repeating pattern of stylized cloud motifs outlined in fine wirework. A prominent, large yellow character is featured on one side, symbolizing good fortune and prosperity. The opposite side is decorated with a colorful, multi-petaled pink peony blossom with green leaves. The interior of the bowl is finished in a smooth, patinated metal, and the base bears a cast seal mark. The enamel surface is glossy and shows the characteristic fine wirework of the cloisonné technique, with the metal rim exhibiting a warm, aged patina.
