Hand-thrown by the historic, world-renowned multi-generational studio Ceramiche Nicola Fasano in Grottaglie, Puglia, Italy, this substantial vessel perfectly anchors a corner, entryway, or hearth.
The piece features a brilliant, glossy honey-yellow/ochre glaze over the upper body and handles, juxtaposed against a beautifully textured raw earthenware base. It proudly bears the impressed "CNF Italy" studio stamp on the underside and retains its original vintage "Jay Willfred / Andrea by Sadek" boutique import label on the neck.
Ideal for European Farmhouse, Tuscan, or casual Coastal styling—looks striking displayed completely empty or styled with tall, dried olive branches.
Styles: Mediterranean, Italian, Rustic European, Traditional Farmhouse.
Condition Notes:
Excellent vintage condition. Structurally pristine with zero cracks or structural damage. Features a single microscopic surface glaze pop ("flea bite") inherent to the rustic hand-firing process of traditional Puglia pottery. Fully documented in the photos,
PROVENANCE & MAKER NOTE: Please note that while the Chairish dropdown field lists the creator as "Unknown" due to system database limitations, this is an authenticated piece with explicit markings. The underside bears the official impressed studio stamp of Ceramiche Nicola Fasano (CNF) from Grottaglie (Puglia, Italy). Additionally, the neck retains its original, intact vintage paper import label from Jay Willfred / Andrea by Sadek. It is 100% guaranteed authentic Italian artisan pottery.
Vintage Boutique History: Adding to its incredible vintage charm, the jug still retains its original handwritten paper boutique retail tag on the body, showing it originally sold for $150.00 decades ago. This surviving tag offers a wonderful window into its past and confirms it has always been a premium, highly-curated luxury decor piece.

As an authentic, hand-thrown piece of traditional Italian country pottery, the vessel features beautiful, organic artisanal elements. This includes natural glaze dripping where the glossy ochre glaze runs down the body, as well as an original unglazed/shallow spot under the handle base where the clay was held or set during the handmade firing process. There is also one tiny, insignificant microscopic surface pinhole glaze pop ("flea bite") on the body. All of these natural variations are entirely original to the piece's creation in Puglia, are completely normal for rustic Nicola Fasano pottery, and beautifully showcase its honest, handmade vintage heritage.
