This exceptionally sophisticated and shape-refined coffee table in the spirit of Art Deco dates from the 1940s in Czechoslovakia. The authorial signature and prestigious design of this exceptional piece of furniture bear the hallmark of prominent architects Karel Koželka and Antonín Kropáček, produced by the renowned Czech Art Workshops. The primary artistic concept relies on modernist principles of optical lightness, harmonious dynamics, and master craftsmanship of solid oak wood combined with clear glass. The architectural structure is built upon elegantly splayed, fluidly shaped legs that support a circular top with an inset glass panel and a practical lower storage shelf. The outstanding aesthetic impression is completed by the captivating wood grain and the confident integration of geometric forms with maximum utility.

The item has undergone a complete, highly professional, and sensitive restoration combined with thorough professional cleaning and the revitalization of the polish. Experienced restorers have thus successfully restored one hundred percent structural integrity and maximum visual appeal while preserving absolute historical authenticity, subtle patina, and the high collector's value of this unique piece.

Thanks to its renowned Czechoslovak origin, prestigious design by Karel Koželka and Antonín Kropáček, and utterly timeless aesthetic, this table serves as a highly exclusive yet fully functional element in a modern interior. It stands out perfectly in a representative living room, a luxury study, a stylish salon, or as a breathtaking design solitaire in a space emphasizing top-tier interwar and post-war design.
