The set comprises a tall lidded coffee pot together with 10 matching cups, all finished in a warm ivory glaze with vivid stylised floral decoration in red, yellow, blue, green and brown.
The coffee pot has an elegant elongated spout, generous curved handle and moulded scroll detailing around the upper body, echoed around the rims of the cups. The bold botanical decoration gives the service a wonderful French country feel while retaining the clean proportions associated with mid-century European tableware.
The underside of the coffee pot carries the original “Cantaloup – Décor Garanti Inaltérable – Sarreguemines-Digoin – France” factory mark, confirming both the pattern and French manufacture.
