This striking piece reflects the experimental spirit of Italian lighting design of the period, combining industrial inspiration with refined Murano glass craftsmanship. The lamp takes its visual language from automobile headlights, with a large circular glass diffuser that recalls the optical lens of a car light.

The front glass is worked with a molded, ribbed surface that enhances the reflection and diffusion of light, while the milky white glass body becomes softly translucent when illuminated, creating a warm and atmospheric glow. The structure rests on a sculptural metal base with a dynamic inclined profile, giving the lamp a futuristic and architectural presence.

Both collectible and decorative, this lamp is ideal for a desk, side table, console or design-focused interior. A distinctive example of 1970s Italian lighting by Carlo Nason for Mazzega.
