This is a vintage Shoushan stone bust of Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. The figure features a serene expression with downcast eyes and a central red mark on her forehead. She wears an ornate crown adorned with green and purple accents, centered with a small seated Buddha. Her chest is decorated with a detailed, multi-colored beaded necklace. The stone itself has a warm, yellowish-amber tone with natural veining. The bust is mounted on a custom wooden stand with a red and blue fabric trim. It is a substantial and heavy piece, weighing over 4 kg, making it a striking focal point for any collection of Asian religious art or as a peaceful decorative accent.
