This is a finely crafted antique copper teapot, hand-hammered and featuring ornate gemstone inlays. The body is of squat, bulbous form with a rich, dark brown patina and a visible hammered texture. The front of the teapot is decorated with an embossed, stylized character or motif. The flat lid is particularly striking, adorned with a central fluted knob topped with a green gemstone, surrounded by a ring of smaller, dark red cabochon stones set in decorative metal mounts. The teapot features a curved spout, a riveted metal handle assembly, and an overhead swinging handle. The interior is clean, and the base shows the natural texture and patina of aged copper.
