Expressive ceramic pitcher by Louis Mendez, featuring a sculpted bearded face, applied arms, a rounded body, and a curved rear handle. The projecting spout forms part of the playful anatomical composition.
Warm earthy brown tones, darker accents, and a richly textured surface emphasize the sculptural details. The interior has a contrasting glossy ochre glaze.
Incised “MENDEZ” signature on the underside. An engaging piece of studio pottery for display on a console, bookshelf, or pedestal.
