Each vessel features a bulbous body adorned with vibrant polychrome floral scrollwork on a turquoise blue ground, accented by a row of raised gilt bosses. The elaborate lids are topped with tall, ornate gilt finials and feature gilt fringe detailing, reminiscent of traditional lantern tassels. The sides are flanked by elaborate handles modeled as stylized dragon-fish (mythical sea creatures). The flared bases are decorated with matching floral and geometric borders. The undersides bear a rectangular enameled seal mark. This set is a striking example of traditional decorative art, combining sculptural gilt bronze elements with fine enamel work.
