This is a cast bronze mirror featuring a highly detailed relief decoration on one side and a plain, patinated surface on the reverse. The decorated side is centered around a prominent knob, surrounded by an intricate scene of stylized mythical beasts (often referred to as sea beasts) intertwined with grapevines, clusters of grapes, and floral motifs. The design is enclosed by a raised outer rim. The bronze exhibits a deep, aged patina with extensive green oxidation, reddish-brown rust, and earthy encrustations, characteristic of antique metalwork.
