A graceful mid-century figurative drawing in pastel and charcoal on blue paper, depicting a reclining blonde female nude in a relaxed, contemplative pose. The drawing bears a signature that appears to read “S. Kahn.” Susan Kahn (1924–2010) was a New York–born American painter who studied at Parsons School of Design and with the noted realist painter Moses Soyer. Soyer also contributed introductory remarks to her 1973 exhibition catalogue.
