A charming Art Deco vanity bench featuring a warm brown wood finish, gracefully shaped apron, and newly upholstered seat in the William Morris Golden Lily pattern.
Intertwining lilies, flowers, and foliage in green, cream, gold, and muted red unfold against a rich brown background. The botanical upholstery complements the wood tones and brings an Arts and Crafts accent to the bench’s architectural Art Deco form.
Broad panel sides, softly rounded edges, and decorative detailing at the feet give this compact piece a handsome presence. The frame has been tightened, surface scratches buffed, and the seat recovered, refreshing the bench while preserving its vintage character.
Measuring 24 inches wide, this versatile bench fits beautifully at a dressing table, beneath a window, or in an entryway. Its rich pattern and warm finish suit English country, traditional, and collected vintage interiors. A visible repaired split near an upper wood corner is documented in the detail photographs.
