A rare matched dining set by Tomlinson of High Point, Inc.: four armchairs and an expandable table in wood with woven leather strap seats and backs. Marked with U.S. Patent 181,011, dated September 15, 1957 (plaque shown in photos). The leather straps are in an unusual light green and yellow combination, rather than the more common black.
Table: 32" x 32" closed; opens to 64" W x 36" D x 28" H.
Armchairs (each): 33.25" H x 20.625" W x 20.125" D. Arm height 25.5", seat height 17.75", seat depth 16.75", seat width 21". Approx. 17 lbs each.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Minor surface scratches to the tabletop and a blemish on one chair's back strap, both shown in the photos. Sold as a complete set of five pieces.
