This charming pair of vintage green glazed parrot figures brings a touch of history to any interior. Each bird is finely modeled standing upon a rocky base, featuring a rich, emerald-green glaze with lighter, straw-colored highlights along the legs and base. The parrots have expressive faces with dark beaks and small eyes, and are detailed with incised feather patterns across their bodies. The glaze exhibits a natural crackle and patina, giving them a distinguished, antique character. In many cultures, parrots are symbols of fidelity, longevity, and good fortune. These figures make a delightful addition to a collection of ceramic birds or Asian decorative arts.
