An impressive pair of large Chinese-style celadon porcelain covered jars, each measuring
H 23.5'' x W 12'' x D12''
The jars feature a beautiful pale celadon-green glazed surface with an elaborate pierced lattice design, allowing the blue-and-white decoration of the inner vessel to remain visible through the openwork exterior. Raised floral decoration and finely molded architectural details add depth and dimension throughout the pieces.
Each jar is completed with a domed lid and decorative finial, creating a substantial and elegant silhouette. The combination of celadon glazing, pierced porcelain work, and contrasting blue-and-white interior decoration gives the pair a particularly striking presence.
