A striking Chinese export porcelain handled basket vase from the early 20th century / Republic Period. This eye-catching piece features a unique double-handled "wishing-well" or bucket-style silhouette rendered in a bold, vibrant palette. The front and reverse showcase a beautifully framed central medallion of hand-painted cobalt blue peonies and elaborate scrolling foliage, contrasting sharply against a bright, sunny yellow and crisp white ground.
The stylized handles bridge the top rim, accented by delicate floral details on the upper crossbar. The underside bears an underglaze blue four-character workshop seal mark reading "乾茂年製" (Qianmao Nian Zhi), indicating production by the historic Qianmao workshop. A cheerful addition to any Grandmillennial aesthetic, this decorative vessel brings timeless Chinoiserie charm to both traditional and eclectic interiors.
