An antique down-bridge floor lamp in the Victorian Revival taste, standing on a continuous twisted/reeded brass-finished metal column (hollow construction), with two cast acanthus-leaf knops banding the pole at the midpoint. The column rises from a stepped, pierced circular foot cast in an openwork lattice with a relief border of grapes and fruit. At the top, a pierced lyre-form bracket — with a small faceted amber glass drop as a hanging ornament — supports the scrolled, down-turned arm and its acanthus-cast socket cap. The lamp retains its period shade: a boxy "crown" form with a lace-paneled top trimmed in metallic gimp braid, finished with a deep curtain of silk/metallic thread fringe.
68"H x 18"W x 10"D overall; stand 61.5"H (foot 10" dia); shade 10" dia x 12"H.
No maker's mark is present; style and era are estimated from form and construction.

Good antique condition, with wear consistent with age throughout. The cast iron and brass components carry a unifying bronze/gilt-tone painted finish that has had light touch-ups to refresh worn areas since acquisition. The fringed shade shows expected age (light soiling/fading possible to the lace and fringe — please refer to photos).
