Striking vintage studio pottery bowl featuring a rich chocolate brown and oxblood glaze with dramatic cream and tan speckling throughout.
The generously proportioned bowl has a softly rounded, organic form accented by two raised horizontal bands of repeating ribbed texture around the upper exterior. The glossy dark glaze contrasts beautifully with the lighter speckled surface, creating a tactile, earthy finish with considerable visual depth.
The interior is finished in the same deep brown glaze with natural variation and an exposed, textured ceramic base. The combination of sculptural form, dimensional surface treatment, and richly variegated glaze makes this an especially appealing piece for an eclectic, organic-modern, rustic, or mid-century-inspired interior.
Beautiful displayed on a console, coffee table, open shelving, or dining table. Equally suited as a decorative centerpiece or functional serving bowl.
