An oval wall mirror in the British Arts and Crafts manner: a hammered metal frame in a warm copper-to-bronze tone with dark mottled patina, four applied strapwork mounts, a twisted rope moulding around the bevelled glass, and a shaped wood back with screw eyes and chain hanger.
The design follows the 1900-1920 idiom, but the construction (a thin metal skin over a shaped wood form, uniform pressed strapwork) points to a later decorative piece rather than a hand-raised studio original, and it is offered as such.
Approx. 22" W x 28" H, estimated from photographs rather than tape-measured; mirror plate roughly 14" x 19".
