An elegant set consisting of a porcelain flower pot and a tall column base. The entire set is finished in black glaze with a rich decor of peacocks among flowering branches. The details of the painting are executed with fine precision and complemented by gold lines that underline the luxurious appearance of the whole. In Chinese culture, the peacock is a symbol of beauty, dignity and immortality. The set is marked with a stylized mark on the bottom, typical of Chinese export porcelain of the second half of the 20th century. Excellent condition without cracks or dents. Suitable as a decorative solitary element for a historical or modern interior.
