The sculptural lamp body showcases the ornate character associated with French decorative arts of the period, with a richly detailed silhouette designed to complement traditional interiors.

The lamp is distinguished by its tall red painted shade, which creates a dramatic contrast against the bronze-toned base. Its three-arm configuration provides both decorative presence and functional illumination, while the corded electrical conversion allows it to be enjoyed as a working table lamp.

The design reflects the enduring revival of Boulle-inspired decorative forms around the turn of the 20th century. Boulle-style works from this period were often created after or in the manner of designs associated with the celebrated French cabinetmaker André-Charles Boulle.
