Regency style gilt wood marble top pedestal or plant stand, early 20th century.
Beautiful gilt pedestal with cabriole legs and scrolled feet set upon an in-curving stepped base. Carved detail accentuates the base as well as the length of the legs and along the apron ending in a scroll lending tailored definition to its clean yet bold design. A nicely edged Carrera marble top has fine gray veining and is in good condition. The top of the marble is 14.5" in diameter.
