A signed and numbered limited-edition giclée on canvas by contemporary artist Michael Cheval, Delighted by the Light.
Known for his distinctive “Absurdist” approach to Surrealism, Cheval creates elaborate dreamlike scenes in which familiar objects and historical figures are rearranged into unexpected narratives. Delighted by the Light is a particularly engaging example, depicting two period figures raising glowing glasses across a table within a fantastical garden.
The work is signed within the image and additionally signed and numbered 22/100 on the reverse of the canvas.
Presented in a substantial warm gold-tone frame with decorative inner molding.
Overall framed dimensions: 45.5”W × 27.25”H.
A dramatic large-scale work particularly suited to an eclectic, maximalist, traditional, or contemporary interior.
