Vintage Gucci figural stirrup cup featuring a sculptural stag head with an impressive spread of branching antlers. Finely modeled facial features, ears and textured fur give the piece substantial detail, enhanced by the naturally antiqued finish within the recessed areas.
The stag head supports a polished silver-tone tapered drinking cup with a flared rim. When inverted, the sculptural head and antlers form the decorative base in the traditional manner of European sporting and equestrian stirrup cups.
The GUCCI signature is visible around the lower portion of the stag-head mount. At approximately 8 inches high, this is a particularly substantial and decorative example with considerably more presence than smaller versions.
An excellent vintage Gucci collectible for a bar, library, study, equestrian interior or sporting collection. Additional Gucci animal-head stirrup cups from the same collection are available separately.
