The original orange Strong label from Ellsworth, Maine, is still on the back, and the title is hand-lettered on the stretcher bar.
Abstract bold design, tan arches, bars and circles in contrast to a warm white background, textured dry-brush ring in the lower left. It has a calm, sculptural feel. It comes in a silver metal frame and is ready to hang.
Harris Strong's studio made decorative art for mid-century homes, hotels, and designers, and is still collected today. See less
