The piece features a distinct signature formed directly from shaped metal wire (signature en métal façonné), an established hallmark of Buñuel’s three-dimensional work. The multi-planar architectural composition is constructed from hand-formed wire, welded sheet metal, and wrapped metal elements. The design incorporates a functional, mechanically activated kinetic wheel operated by an attached lever mechanism, reflecting a distinct Brutalist and surrealist sensibility through raw surfaces, exposed welds, and oxidized patinas.

Buñuel’s sculptural practice developed within an elite avant-garde lineage; he maintained direct personal and artistic connections with modern master Alexander Calder, author George Orwell, and his father, the legendary surrealist cinema director Luis Buñuel. The material selection, scale, and irregular cage-like wire frameworks of this piece correspond closely to documented Buñuel works, such as Les Insectes Nocturnes (1965), which is held in the permanent collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art. The Cleveland Museum explicitly documents and validates Buñuel's placement within this Calder-associated mid-century artistic circle, establishing a firm historical framework for the piece.
