XX is tied in wool with bouclé technique (eyelet technique) and is decorated with a geometric pattern, which refers to the archaic tradition of the island. The mélange colour of the base comes from the use of wool in its natural colour. The production of textile products in Sardinia has a very ancient origin: a trade of carpets and other handicrafts of the Sardinian tradition existed, according to the historical reconstruction and the findings, since the times of the ancient Romans. The production was stimulated mainly by the abundance of a raw material such as sheep wool, used as yarn.
