An elegant and exclusive coffee table by Pierre Cardin, dating back to the 1970s.
A piece of furniture with a bold personality, the perfect expression of the glamorous, geometric aesthetic that distinguished the creations of the celebrated French designer for interior design of the time.
The table features a solid, sculptural cross-shaped base and a large, square top in glossy black lacquered wood.
The top's profile and the edges of the frame are finely embellished with exposed wood details, creating a subtle, aesthetic contrast and enhancing the piece's clean, essential lines.
It shows normal signs of wear due to age and use, particularly when held up to the light, as shown in the photo. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
