A tender midcentury serigraph by Swedish-American artist and designer Dietrich Grunewald (1916–2003), titled “Joy.” Rendered in fluid white and warm gold linework against a deep black ground, the composition depicts an intimate moment between a mother and infant.
The work is pencil-titled “Joy,” numbered 22 from an edition of 175, and signed “Dietrich” along the lower margin. A Dietrich studio-edition label remains affixed to the reverse. It is presented in a decorative painted wood frame with a linen liner and gold-toned inner surround.
