Description:
Presenting a magnificent vintage Chinese cloisonné vase, exquisitely handcrafted with fine wirework and vibrant enamel. This elegant piece features a classic Meiping (plum vase) form with a gilded rim and base, adorned with a dynamic, polychrome depiction of a phoenix in flight among blooming peonies, set against a rich black ground with an intricate scrolling pattern. The neck and base are decorated with bands of floral and lappet motifs, while the interior and base are finished in a striking turquoise enamel. The vase rests on a carved wooden display stand and comes complete with its original fitted presentation box. Perfect as a striking focal point on a mantel, console, or as part of an Asian art collection.
