Charming original watercolor depicting a quiet rural homestead blanketed in snow, signed “Edna Evallos” and dated 1997. Rendered in a soft, atmospheric palette of lavender, blue-gray, ochre and deep evergreen, the painting has a wonderfully serene winter character.
Presented under glass with a muted lavender-gray mat in a handsome decorative wood frame featuring carved foliate detailing and a warm antiqued finish. A lovely small-scale original work for a gallery wall, cottage, traditional or collected interior. Signed and dated lower right.
