Charming 19th-century English inlaid satinwood sewing box, dating to circa 1890, featuring an elegant pincushion on top and intricate inlay crafted from exotic woods.
The fitted interior includes a mirror in the lid and divided compartments designed for organizing sewing accessories such as thimbles and needles. The interior is attractively lined in green fabric, while the box rests on small turned legs.
The combination of figured satinwood, exotic wood inlay, delicate brass hardware, fitted compartments, and interior mirror makes this an exceptionally decorative and functional example of Victorian-era English sewing furniture.
