Elegant 19th-century French ladies’ jewelry box dating to circa 1890, crafted in richly figured burl elm with decorative bone inlay and fruitwood accents. The box features a lift lid with a key and lock, opening to a luxurious red silk-lined interior.
The warm burl elm grain, delicate bone detailing, and red silk lining create a refined decorative piece characteristic of fine French antique boxes. A beautiful choice for collectors of antique jewelry boxes, French decorative objects, and traditional European accessories.
