Charming pair of French Louis XVI style side tables dating to circa 1920, featuring distinctive polychrome decoration and painted country manor motifs on the square tops. Each tabletop is framed by painted canvas leaf detailing that surrounds and complements the central country manor scene.
The tables feature hand-carved decorative details and quality molded stretchers, adding architectural interest and refined European character. Their petite scale and decorative painted surfaces make them versatile accent pieces for a living room, bedroom, entryway, or sitting area.
A distinctive matching pair for collectors of French furniture, painted antiques, and European decorative furnishings.
