The work is by the artist Michael Prechtl and is hand-signed and dated 1956 in the lower right corner.
Artist: Michael Prechtl (full name Michael Mathias Prechtl, 1926–2003), a significant German painter, illustrator, and graphic artist.
Title: "Southern Landscape" (titled lower left).
Technique: Color print (likely a color linocut or similar printmaking technique), characteristic of his early works from the 1950s.
