A beautiful antique English oak bookcase with wonderful warmth, character, and detailing throughout. The upper section features two large glazed doors opening to a shelved interior with a paneled back. The shelves rest on wooden supports, allowing their positioning to be adjusted as needed, but the center shelf is stationary.

The lower section offers a combination of concealed storage and four generously sized drawers, finished with ornate metal drop pulls and keyhole escutcheons. Glass knobs on the cabinet doors add another charming period detail. Carved trim along the crown and between the upper and lower sections gives the piece a particularly handsome architectural quality.

The cabinet separates into two pieces for transport. There are screws that attach the top to the base. We recommend securing the top to the wall for extra stability.
