A striking vintage table lamp featuring an oversized lyre-form brass frame surrounding a frosted glass bell shade.
The sculptural open frame is supported by an ornate brass base with raised classical detailing, turned elements, and a beautifully aged finish. Suspended within the frame, the frosted glass shade is decorated with an intricate floral, butterfly, and scrolling motif that becomes particularly beautiful when illuminated.
The lamp’s dramatic silhouette and warm aged brass finish give it a strong Neoclassical and Empire Revival character, while the unusual lyre form makes it an eye-catching accent for a traditional, eclectic, or collected interior.
The lamp has been tested and is working. No definitive maker attribution has been established; markings visible on the underside are shown in the photographs.
