"Klaus Neuper's painted worlds unfold on the one hand on the canvas, and on the other hand, through impasto mixed media techniques and relief-like engravings, they suggest a creative bridge to real and three-dimensional space. For in his layering and glazing technique, and through the graphic method he employs—etching linear drawings into the still-wet paint with a brush—Neuper's art reminds us of the mixed media technique of so-called 'wall paintings,' as used before him by important painters such as Willi." from 2004, Klaus Neuper was Professor of Art at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
from 1969 onwards, he held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions.
