The design is attributed to the Belgian glassworks Verrerie de Scailmont and dates to the first half of the 20th century.

It is extremely rare in this grey colour—few were produced in this shade—making the piece highly collectible.

Small imperfections such as mold lines and tiny air bubbles are characteristic of Depression glass; these are not defects but rather indicators of authenticity.

This beautiful cake stand is in good vintage condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its material and era, such as minor surface scratches on the top and a tiny chip on the inside of the bottom rim; please see the photos for details.
