Small louis xv style walnut cabinet – 18th/19th century
an elegant, small antique walnut cabinet, narrow and vertical in shape, opening with a molded panel door.
the front features a subtly scalloped decoration, embellished at the top with a carved scroll motif. The door is adorned with a beautiful metal keyhole escutcheon with a flowing design, adding a further decorative touch.
the projecting cornice, with its successive moldings, pleasantly highlights the upper part of the cabinet. The lower rail, scalloped and undulating, rests on four small feet; the front feet are cabriole and terminate in scrolls, characteristic of the louis xv style.
the interior, particularly interesting, is fitted with three shelves.
