A broad flared brim sits below, secured to the body by a ring assembly with cast retaining clips spaced around the circumference. A deep teardrop perspex diffuser fits into the aperture beneath, seated against the reflector housing and held by screw fixings visible from the underside.

the lampholder sits at the centre of the reflector bowl behind the diffuser, with a cast entry gland and suspension hook at the apex — the hook itself is marked 60°c. Both canopies carry the cast oval maker's plaque reading ware / d.w. Windsor / herts – england, with a part-legible serial number above the maker's name. D.w. Windsor has manufactured exterior and street lighting from ware, hertfordshire, and these belong to their range of amenity pendants intended for covered exterior and semi-exterior installation. This piece has an attribution mark,
